Welcome to our Website
The University of Spirituality is an online resource for information and guidance regarding Spirituality, Prayer, Meditation, The Soul, Karma, The Human Energy System, Past Lives, Health and Natural Healing, Out of Body Experiences, Self-Realization and Immortality. The University of Spirituality reinforces the concept of a university without walls by extending it to the construction of our true home within the house of God. The university curriculum teaches students about revealing the mysteries of life and learning directly from God by accessing the universal knowledge banks and the Akashic records.
These pages reflect the contents of the main coursework: The Master Within, Volume One, Building Our New Home Within the House of God, and Volume Two, The University of Spirituality, and the novel, The Reluctant Disciple, all authored by Bodan. The course explores the idea of constructing a spiritual home from within the essence of the soul using universal energy as the building blocks. We already have the tools and materials within ourselves to build our new home, and it is the most important construction project we can ever undertake.
What is Spirituality?
Spirituality has been defined in numerous ways. In general, these include a belief in a power operating in the universe that is greater than oneself, a sense of interconnectedness with this power and with all living things, an awareness of the purpose and meaning of life beyond conventional terms, and the development of aspirations and personal values. Spirituality is commonly thought of as one’s personal pursuit of the divine and is not bound to any particular religious tradition. Many seekers value the existence of different spiritual paths, emphasizing the importance of finding one's own individual path to spirituality and a greater understanding of God and the absolute.
Spirituality has a positive effect on us in many ways. Spiritual practices tend to:
- improve coping skills and social support
- foster feelings of optimism and hope
- promote healthy behavior and lifestyles
- reduce feelings of depression and anxiety
- encourage a sense of relaxation and freedom.
By alleviating stressful feelings and promoting healing ones, spirituality can positively influence the immune system, thereby helping us ward off many ailments.
Spirituality helps us better manage the struggles of life, and helps us understand why things happen to us, what we can do about it and what we can learn from the process. Spirituality also provides answers to the key questions in life: why we are here, where did we came from, is there life beyond the physical arena, and how do our lives fit into the greater scheme of things.
Spirituality is an expression of the soul and is the most important quality we all have. A truly amazing system of energy, your spirit is an integral part of your internal make-up, assisting you with whatever you wish to achieve in life. The energy of your spirit stimulates hidden abilities that lie dormant within you, thereby helping you realize your greater potential. The basic requirement in accessing your spirit is acknowledging its presence at the heart of your being. The act of placing yourself in the presence of this higher power and allowing yourself to become united with this pure intelligent energy promotes faith, hope, compassion, forgiveness, altruism, healing, security and love.
The Self-Guru Concept
The University of Spirituality's Curriculum is not structured in any ordinary sense. There are no degree programs or certificates, though the potential for what you can achieve by tapping into your own internal teacher far surpasses any formal measure of success. Far too much time and energy is expelled searching outwardly for truth. The pursuit of truth is an individual quest found only through the inward search of the soul.
We introduce the Self-Guru teaching concept, a method whereby the student learns through his or her soul. The Self-Guru method of development has always been available to us; we simply have not been aware of it. The concept may seem a bit eccentric, but the result of this teacher-student relationship is a rekindled friendship with yourself, a reassured self-presence, and a vibrant creative expression of your spirituality. It is all up to you.
